Introduction
The "Truck Brakes" document in the VSD Fleet Management System (VSD Fleet MS) is designed to track and manage specific details of a truck’s braking system. It uses an editable grid to allow for easy data entry and management of brake system components, their inspection status, and any remarks.
1. Accessing Truck Brakes
To access the Truck Brakes configuration:
Navigate to the VSD Fleet MS module within your system.
Locate the "Truck Brakes" document under the relevant section.
Open the document to view, add, or edit entries related to the truck’s brake system components.
2. Overview of Fields
Brake System
Description: This field captures specific parts or components of the truck's brake system, such as brake pads, calipers, brake lines, etc.
How to Use: Enter the name of the brake system component in this field (e.g., "Brake Pad", "Brake Caliper", "ABS System").
Mark
Description: This checkbox indicates whether the brake component has been checked or inspected.
How to Use: Check the box if the component has been reviewed during an inspection. Leave it unchecked if the component has not yet been inspected.
Remarks
Description: This field allows for additional notes or comments regarding the brake system component. This could include issues found, actions taken, or observations.
How to Use: Enter any relevant remarks regarding the brake system component (e.g., "Pads worn out", "Calipers replaced", "No issues found").
